We have good news: thanks to modern technology, you can now create beautiful, precise embroidery without any drawing skills! In this post (and the accompanying video), we’ll show you how to add spring flowers to your clothes using the Rico Stick and Stitch kit.

In the video, we cover four basic stitches that allow you to create almost any floral pattern:
Stem Stitch: Perfect for stems and vines.
French Knot: Use this to add texture to the center of flowers or small berries.
Long and Short Stitch: Excellent for filling leaves and larger areas.
Lazy Daisy Stitch: The easiest way to create beautiful petal shapes.
After finishing your embroidery, the most exciting part begins. No need for scraping or scissors! Since the sticker is water-soluble, simply hold the embroidered area under lukewarm water (or soak it for a short time). The guidelines and the sticker material will simply dissolve, leaving only your beautiful, clean embroidery on your jeans.

If you don’t choose the kit and prefer to draw small patterns yourself, I recommend these:
Stranded embroidery floss: If you don't buy the kit (you can practice embroidery with these too). In the video, you can see how to separate the strands for a finer finish.
DMC embroidery needle set: A good needle is half the battle! If you want to embroider on thicker fabric, I definitely recommend it!
LED needle threader: If you find it hard to thread a needle, you might struggle with embroidery floss. Let the creation be about joy, not a struggle. More needle threaders here >>>
Embroidery hoops: If you are working with thinner fabric, these are definitely useful; choose a smaller size!
Heat-erasable, water-soluble, and air-erasable marking pens and pattern transfer papers
