Whole Lot of Dots Blanket - knitting pattern

Simy’s Studio designed the Whole Lot of Dots Blanket to include all 60 shades from the Scheepjes Terrazzo Colour Pack. The 30 motifs are knitted separately using the intarsia technique, making this a portable project that’s an ideal introduction to colorwork. Bold circles within squares accentuate the yarn’s contrasting and complementing flecks and tie the colors within the collection together beautifully. A simple narrow border using a single 50g ball is all that’s needed to perfectly frame this striking design. Measuring 90x100cm, it would make a lovely light lapghan and is sized to be wheelchair friendly.

Terrazzo is made from a premium blend of 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose. This felted, tweed yarn has a luxurious look and feel and is washable up to 30 C. The subtly speckled color effect, reminiscent of terrazzo floors, is achieved by twisting fibres of contrasting and complementary colors.
